Extra Dark will continue to grow and mutate. The plans to end the web series are well under way, and the trove of ideas as yet unfilmed will go on to see the light of day.

The aforementioned plan for comics has been revised into Extra Dark Chronicles: a blog-format combination of comics and illustrated short stories inspired by serialized novels in the vein of Dickens and Dumas. These stories will serve to embellish the broader Extra Dark universe, both the ancient futurist past and the cosmogothic future. Multiple authors and multiple illustrators will take on multipart stories.

Certain stories developed during the web series period are intended for feature films, and alternately could make for story arcs in a full-length series, specifically:

IMPERVIOUS and DEAD HORSE BAY.
